We pay an attractive salary of £10,478.81 - £11,738.05 (14 hours) / £13,472.76 - £15,091.78 (18 hours) / £14.35 per hour (Casual / Relief) and offer access to training and development opportunities.
Join our team as a Social Care Worker, where you’ll play a vital role in supporting people with learning disabilities to live full, independent and meaningful lives within their community. You’ll provide flexible, person-centred care while promoting dignity, choice and independence at all times. Working within respite settings, you’ll help create a safe, respectful and empowering environment, building positive relationships and enabling individuals to achieve their goals.
For the role, we ask that you have:
- The ability to achieve a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care within an agreed timescale.
- An understanding of the principles that underpin a quality care environment ie Privacy, dignity, respect, choice, independence and rights.
- Good communication skills, written and verbal.
