We pay an attractive salary of £22,454.59 - £23,565.41 (30 hours) / £16,840.95 - £17,674.05 (22.5 hours) / £14.35 per hour (Relief/Casual) and offer access to training and development opportunities.
The successful applicants will be supporting adults with learning disabilities to develop independent living skills and take an active role in their community. You will empower individuals to make their own choices, build confidence, and live fulfilled, independent lives. Through personalised, person‑centred support, you’ll promote independence, inclusion, and wellbeing.
Working alongside adults with learning disabilities in their homes and within the community, you’ll help them achieve their personal goals, whether that’s developing daily living tasks, joining community activities, or exploring new opportunities that enhance their quality of life.
This is a rewarding role where you’ll encourage independence, provide respectful support, and help individuals access the experiences that matter most to them.

The relief/casual posts are offered on a zero-hours basis with work available as needed to support the team and cover short‑term absences.
There is a requirement to achieve a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care within an agreed timescale for this post.
For the role, we ask that you have:
- An understanding of the principles that underpin a quality care environment i.e. Privacy, dignity, respect, choice, independence and rights.
- Experience with people who require support and assistance with all aspects of personal care, daily living and social skills.
- The ability to work shifts on a rota basis, and work flexibly, including weekends, bank holidays and sleep in duties.
