Join our Intensive Support Team and help transform the lives of children, young people and families on the Edge of Care.
As a Senior Practitioner, you will provide leadership, mentoring and support to practitioners, promoting high-quality professional practice and positive outcomes for children and families. You will work in a skilled multidisciplinary team, working alongside Social Workers, Support Workers, Specialist Health Visitors, Education and Psychology colleagues. You will champion strengths-based, solution-focused interventions that help children remain safely within their family networks wherever possible.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and compassionate practitioner with a passion for achieving positive outcomes, supporting staff development and leading high-quality practice with children and families.
For the role, we ask that you have:
- A Diploma/Degree in Social Work or predecessor qualification.
- A post qualification experience in social work - fieldwork.
- A Full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business purposes to travel throughout the borough to attend meetings.

The current registration requirements state that completion of the Consolidation of Practice qualification within your first 3 years of practice is mandatory (if you qualified after 1st April 2016). Failure to successfully complete this qualification will result in you being unable to renew your Social Work Registration or practice as a Social Worker.
