Senior Care Assistant (Nights)

Duties expected (this list is a brief description and is not exhaustive)

Oversee the team of carers, monitoring and delegating tasks appropriately, and assisting practically where needed. Leading by example.
Administer and record medication accurately.
Liaising with medical and other professionals as necessary to achieve the best outcome for residents.
Updating and liaising with Managers.
Ensuring care plans are accurate and updated as necessary using our electronic system 'Log My Care'.
Inducting and monitoring new staff.
Supervising and monitoring existing junior staff, referring to managers where necessary.
Requirements

Level 3 NVQ/QCF/RQF in Health & Social Care (Adults) or working towards.
Ability to communicate clearly on all levels.
Good standard of written and spoken English.
Experience of leading a team or supervising others.
