Join Us at Hafan Y Wern - Make a Real Difference, One Day at a Time
At Hafan y Wern, we don’t just provide care, we create a home. Our purpose built residential setting in Conwy is designed to be safe, nurturing spaces where children and young people feel seen, heard, and supported.
We’re looking for Residential Childcare Workers to join our team. This is more than just a job; it’s a chance to walk alongside young people with complex needs, offering consistent, therapeutic support and helping them build brighter futures.
You’ll help create a structured, caring environment, build strong relationships, and support children through emotional and behavioural challenges. Working flexibly across both homes, you’ll be part of a passionate team that puts children at the heart of everything we do.
We’re looking for someone with warmth, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting children. Ideally, you’ll have experience in residential childcare, hold (or be working towards) a QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential Care and have a solid understanding of trauma-informed practice, safeguarding, and child development.
If you’re someone who leads with honesty, empathy, and positivity, we’d love to hear from you. Even if you don’t tick every box but feel you could bring something special to the role, please get in touch.
Additional Information:
• All successful candidates will require an enhanced DBS check.
• Therapeutic training and ongoing support will be provided.
How to Apply:
If you’re passionate about giving children the best start in life, and you’re someone who leads with warmth, honesty, and resilience — we’d love to hear from you.
Even if you don’t meet every requirement, but you feel you could bring something special to this role, please get in touch.
Join us at Hafan y Wern — and help us change lives, one day at a time.
