We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Manager to lead and develop our domiciliary care service in Wales. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management, regulatory compliance, staff leadership, and delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to individuals living in their own homes.
The post holder will be registered with and accountable to Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW).

Key Responsibilities • Ensure full compliance with CIW regulations and the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016 • Maintain registration with Care Inspectorate Wales • Lead, manage, and support the care coordination team and care staff • Ensure safe recruitment, supervision, appraisal, and staff development • Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding processes • Monitor service quality and implement continuous improvement strategies • Manage budgets and ensure financial sustainability of the service • Prepare for and lead CIW inspections • Build effective relationships with service users, families, local authorities, and healthcare professionals • Ensure the service delivers safe, effective, and compassionate care

Essential Requirements • NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Children and Adults) Wales (or equivalent) • Proven experience in domiciliary care management • Strong knowledge of CIW regulations and safeguarding legislation • Experience in inspection preparation and quality assurance • Excellent leadership and communication skills • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle • Strong organisational and IT skills

Welsh Language Requirement • The ability to speak and understand Welsh is essential/desirable depending on the service area. • The Registered Manager must be able to communicate effectively with Welsh-speaking service users and families where required. • Applications are welcomed in Welsh and English in line with Welsh Language Standards.
