About the job
This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for a wide range of high-impact services. You will:
- Lead the strategic delivery of community social care services, ensuring strong outcomes for residents
- Oversee independent living services that support people to remain safely at home
- Drive innovation in preventative services, reablement, and early intervention
- Work closely with our health partners to strengthen hospital discharge and “home first” approaches
- Ensure services meet statutory requirements and CIW standards
You will oversee a diverse and essential portfolio of services including:
- First point of contact and information, advice and assistance services
- Community resource and rapid response services
- Occupational therapy and disabled adaptations
- Telecare (24/7) and Meals on Wheels
- Community engagement services tackling isolation
- Joint equipment services and partnerships
- Hospital-based social work and integrated discharge services

What We Are Looking For From You

The successful candidate will have:
- Strong leadership experience in adult social care or related services
- A track record of driving improvement, innovation and performance
- Experience managing complex services, partnerships and budgets
- A passion for person-centred care, prevention and independence
- The confidence to lead through change and deliver at pace
Most importantly, you will share our values – putting people first, working collaboratively and striving to improve every day.
The ability to speak other languages, in particular Welsh, and Community Languages would be an advantage.
