Overall job purpose
The Domiciliary Care Manager is responsible for the operational leadership of a range of communitybased care services, including the Home Care Service, Reablement Service, Dementia Support Service, and Supported Living Service. The post holder ensures these services are delivered safely, effectively, and in ways that promote independence, dignity, and person-centred outcomes for all individuals receiving support. They oversee day-to-day service delivery, workforce management, care planning, quality assurance, and continuous improvement across all service areas. The Manager ensures that practice complies with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements (CIW), and organisational policies. They act as the key point of accountability for safeguarding, risk management, service performance, and regulatory inspection. Through strong leadership, partnership working, and a culture of professionalism and compassion, the Domiciliary Care Manager ensures that all services operate cohesively to maximise independence, enhance wellbeing, and deliver positive outcomes for people within the community.
