Deputy Nurse Manager

- Provide clinical leadership to the nursing staff, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
- Assist the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the care home.
- Manage care planning, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with CIW standards.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals including doctors and nurses to coordinate resident care effectively.
- Act as a key support in the absence of the Manager and provide leadership during "out of hours" shifts.

Requirements:
- Qualified nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD) with a valid NMC PIN number.
- Passion for elderly and dementia care with a compassionate approach.
- Strong organizational skills and a committed work ethic.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Up-to-date clinical skills; training will be provided for revalidation purposes.
- Knowledge of current care practices as per industry regulations (e.g., CIW standards).
- NVQ Level 5 is desirable but not mandatory.
