An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Team for a permanent part time Day Services Assistant to work with individuals in our Ystrad Mynach day base (Monday and Wednesday) and Oaklands day base, Rhymney (Tuesday and Thursday).
We are looking for people who can light up a room when they enter, wear their hearts on their sleeve, who have exceptional personable skills and have a motivated and positive attitude to all aspects of working with people.
We aim to provide a person centred and tailored approach when providing social opportunities, the individuals we support are at the centre of all we do, we want staff who are motivated in empowering people to achieve their goals and outcomes, we want you to be the reason that individuals enjoy their sessions with us.
You will become part of a team, who strives to provide the best outcomes for individuals.
For the role, we ask that you have:
- A Level 2 qualification in Care on the Credit and Qualifications Framework or the commitment and ability to attain the qualification within 1 year of appointment
- An understanding of disability issues such as empowerment, choice and advocacy.
- Experience of working in a care setting.
