About the job
This post is managed by the Childcare Placements and Contract Monitoring Officer.
The purpose of this post is to support the Childcare Placements and Contract Monitoring Officer in the allocation and monitoring of attendance for eligible Flying Start children.
The postholder will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient management of the termly allocations, ensuring relevant and accurate information is shared with Flying Start settings, Flying Start Health Visitors and families.
The postholder will also be expected to arrange and attend Health Visitor meetings to discuss the wellbeing of children attending Flying Start settings as well as assisting the Childcare Placements and Contract Monitoring Officer in carrying out audit spot checks.
What We Are Looking For From You
The right postholder will have experience of working in an office environment and an interest in supporting families with proven experience of working in a multi-professional team.
We require someone that works well with others, can establish and maintain positive working relationships and has the ability to identify, anticipate and assess short-, mid- and long-term risks.
We are looking for someone who is flexible and adaptable and can work comfortably with change. The post holder will be proficient with using Microsoft Office applications, including emails, spread sheets, and word documents.

Welsh is not essential but desirable.
The ability to speak other languages, in particular Welsh alongside other community languages would be an advantage.
