Overall job purpose
Using the World Health Organisation’s ‘Guide to Age Friendly Communities’ as a blueprint, this project will work towards the objective of attaining WHO accreditation for the Isle of Anglesey as an ‘Age Friendly Island’. The delivery lead organisation for this project element is Isle of Anglesey County Council. The role aims to apply a structured approach to achieving sustainable, whole system change, supporting partners and deliverers throughout this process, linking to national and international best practice and innovation wherever possible.
