WeCare Wales at Skills Cymru 2025
WeCare Wales is excited to be attending Skills Cymru, Wales’ largest careers and skills event, taking place on Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 November 2025 at the Utilita Arena, Cardiff.
With over 2,000 plus attendees expected, Skills Cymru brings together national and local employers, universities, colleges, and training providers to inspire and inform young people aged 14 – 24, as well as their parents, carers, and teachers.
Our activities on the day
We’ll be offering a range of engaging activities designed to help students explore careers in care.
- Question and answer with our trainers:
A chance for students to ask questions about career options, qualifications, and the wide variety of roles available in the care sector. - Resources for teachers:
Explore our free tools and materials to help support students considering a career in care. - Training programme sign-up:
Schools and colleges can book onto our free post 16 education programme relating to social care and our free young person's introduction to childcare relating to early years, play and childcare. - Virtual Reality experience:
Immerse yourself in real care environments and job roles through our interactive VR stations. - Activities: Get hands on with our career cards, get creative with the mood board station and gain insight into care work through our dementia goggles experience.

- Day One: 10:00am –14:30pm and 15:30pm–18:00pm
- Day Two: 10:00am –14:00pm
