About the role:
The Mental Health Team Manager role involves providing clear leadership and management to social workers, AMHPs and support workers. The focus is on supporting individuals to live independently by fostering a strengths-based approach. The manager will oversee performance, ensure adherence to best practices, and collaborate with partner agencies to deliver high-quality mental health services within Powys.
About you:
• Proven experience in a multi-agency/multi-disciplinary environment
• Commitment to developing practice and services
• Ability to oversee complex, high-risk cases
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Effective crisis management
• Knowledge of relevant legislation
What you will do:
• Provide clear leadership, management, and direction to the team
• Manage performance and ensure adherence to strengths-based principles
• Support the Senior Leadership Team in modelling high-quality practice
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement
• Build and maintain relationships with partner agencies
