Hours: Full Time 37 hours per week
Location of post: Base 15, Neath Port Talbot Youth Justice Service, Unit 15, Neath Abbey, Business Park Road, Neath Abbey, SA10 7DR
We are currently looking to recruit a Social Worker in the Youth Justice and Early Intervention Service. You will be part of a committed and multi-agency workforce where the primary function is to work with young people and their family/carers to prevent offending in line with the aims and objectives of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 and subsequent legislation, in order to protect the community of Neath Port Talbot. You will provide social work input to case management involving the completion of assessments, report writing and the planning and delivery of interventions with young people involved across prevention and early intervention as well as those subject to statutory orders.
You must possess a relevant qualification in Social Work with relevant experience in Children's Services and/or Youth Justice and be registered with Social Care Wales or an equivalent body.

Your workstyle will be a mobile hybrid worker in this role which gives you the flexibility to work from home and from a variety of Council workplaces.
