This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Children Services Team.
We pay an attractive salary of £20,110 - £43,421 Plus a Market Supplement of £3,383 (Full time hours) and offer access to training and development opportunities.Caerphilly Family and Friends Team are seeking 2 permanent Senior Practitioners,1 full-time and 1 part-time.
The Team manages those children who are subject to PCCP, Kinship Fostering arrangements, Supervision Orders and children on Special Guardianship Orders and therefore is a team that provides long term support to families.
You will be part of a highly supportive team environment with access to training and development opportunities. You will need to have knowledge of the Children Looked After processes and procedures, and an understanding of Court processes, as you will have decision-making responsibility and supervise workers.
For the role, we ask that you have: - A Diploma/Degree in Social Work or predecessor qualification, along with successful completion of the Consolidation of Practice Programme within the first three years of practice (if qualified after 1 April 2016).
- Up to date knowledge of current legislation and statutory regulations, research, and practice in relation to the relevant service area.
- Post qualification experience in social work - fieldwork.
- A full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business purposes to travel throughout the borough to attend meetings.

This post attracts a Market Supplement of £3,383 (Full time hours) per annum, in addition to the annual salary, which will be paid in 12 monthly instalments.
