Residential Care Worker

About the role:
The role requires an individual with experience with working with young people in a residential setting of all aspects of the young people's needs and staffing support when on shift. We are seeking a calm and organised individual that has the core values of
meeting the young persons needs and assisting in developing a exciting new team within a Therapeutic children's home.
About you:
• Skills in understanding ACE and how to manage and support young people
• Correct and accurate recording within the home, and understanding and knowledge and young people's plans and paperwork.
• A strong passion for helping young people in need
• An ability to build supportive relationships with young people and staff team
• Good knowledge of CIW expectations and National Minimum standards for Residential Care.
• Must hold a Full UK driving licence and minimum age of 22.
What you will do:
• Supporting 3 young people and 3 residential care workers .
• Support staff in creating a structured and nurturing environment for young people.
• Follow Policies and procedures for the home inline with regulation from CIW and Social Care Wales.
