At Conwy County Borough Council, we're looking for a friendly, motivated Employment Support Assistant to join our Disability Employment Mentoring Support Service. You'll work alongside individuals with disabilities aged 14 and over, helping them build the skills and confidence they need to move into voluntary or paid employment.
What You'll Be Doing: • Supporting individuals in line with their personal employment plans • Providing excellent customer service in community and retail settings • Helping maintain safe, welcoming environments • Working as part of a team to deliver meaningful, person-centred support • Keeping accurate records and contributing to service reviews
What We're Looking For: • A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine interest in helping others • Good communication and teamwork skills • Experience in retail, gardening, or customer service is a plus • Willingness to undertake relevant training (including QCF Level 2 if not already held) • Ability to work flexibly and follow health and safety procedures
