Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Hengoed Park Residential Care Home as a Manager on our dementia floor which has 34 residents living with different stages of dementia.
If you have L4/5 or are currently working towards this leadership and management qualification and want to know more about this role then please contact us.
Experience and an in-depth working knowledge of dementia is essential.
We realise that there are a number of different professionals with this qualification or working towards it, if you also have a working experience as a manger, clinical professional or Social Worker, with people who are living with dementia and would relish a change of direction to residential care, then this job may be for you.

Working toward registered manager status you will take an active role in developing care services to patients with dementia, striving to improve, maintain and monitor the quality of dementia care through audit of practice, education, training, and the delivery of person-centred care.
Our Facebook page ‘Hengoed Care’ will provide you with a flavour of our facilities and ethos. We are set in a beautiful location with its own nature park, lake, wildlife, and animal sanctuary which is available and accessible to residents, their families, and staff.
We are looking for a leader manager who is innovative, fun, and approachable but is also knowledgeable with the skills to support the care home to excel as a leader in dementia care.
