Pay Details: Grade 6 £27,334 - £29,777 p.a.
Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 37 hours Monday to Friday
Main Place of Work: Current base is either Woodlands or Trysor O Le day centres, but may include various locations across the Vale of Glamorgan in accordance with the needs of the role.

About youYou will need:
- Experience of supporting people with learning disabilities and establishing community networks and resources with them. You will be committed to working as part of a team and have experience of liaising with a wide range of agencies. You will have experience of monitoring and evaluating service delivery standards.
- Knowledge of relevant Social Care policy, best practice and key legislation
- A person centred approach to plan, implement, monitor and review day services for individuals' with a learning disability who may also have a complex presentation of support needs. You will be organised and effective in managing your own workload and have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people using a variety of methods. You will be able to contribute effectively to the supervision of staff, to include performance management and undertaking #it'saboutme appraisals. You will have proven IT and digital technology skills to include Microsoft Office and good literacy and numeracy skills.
- A good general standard of education and the ability to undertake relevant training and apply skills and knowledge to your job role.
- A positive attitude and ability to lead change and staff engagement. You will be committed to promoting the principles of equality and demonstrate understanding of core social care values and ethics.
- To undertake Positive Behavioural Management training and apply Positive Behavioural Support within your day to day work
