About the role
No professional OT qualification required.
Could you help shape the future of Occupational Therapy in Ceredigion?
Are you passionate about improving services, helping teams work effectively and turning good ideas into reality?
Do you have a can do approach, enjoy taking action, coordinating projects, supporting people, solving problems and making things happen?
If so, this could be an exciting opportunity to join our Through Age Occupational Therapy Service.
Our Occupational Therapists are experts in helping people live safer, more independent and meaningful lives. As our service continues to develop, we are looking for a Team Coordinator to provide the organisational, operational and project support needed to drive service improvement.
This is not a clinical role and a professional Occupational Therapy qualification is not required. We are looking for someone with strong coordination, leadership, project management and change management skills who can work alongside experienced practitioners to help deliver positive change for the people of Ceredigion.
The Opportunity:
This is a newly created role within our Through Age Occupational Therapy Service. You will work closely with the Team Manager, Senior Occupational Therapists and Assistant Occupational Therapists to support day-to-day operations and long-term service improvement. No two days will be the same.
One day you might be reviewing performance information, supporting workload coordination and implementing a new initiative. Another day you could be facilitating improvement projects, developing processes, supporting staff or working with colleagues across Targeted Short Term Services (TSTS) to improve how services work together.
This is a highly visible role with genuine influence and the opportunity to make a lasting contribution to Occupational Therapy services in Ceredigion.

- Coordinate operational activity across the Occupational Therapy service.
- Provide organisational line management and non-clinical supervision for Occupational Therapy Assistants.
