As a Casual Residential Worker you will be called on to cover staffing shortfalls within the children’s residential provisions operated by Bridgend County Council.Working as part of a team you are required to provide all aspects of care both on an individual and group basis, you will be involved in helping to implement individual care plans, as well as some individual tasks, you will support young people to develop independence skills, the work may also involve outreach work supporting young people, parents/carers within the community and you will also be required to undertake household duties within the residential home.You must be able to show a commitment to and experience of working with young people, an ability to work effectively as part of a team, be able to relate well to children and their families as well as other professionals. We are looking for a PBS Practitioner to join our PBS team and Quality team to drive forward Positive Behaviour Support and Autism Practice.
